The County is currently in collective bargaining negotiations with the Union of American Physicians and Dentists over their successor memorandum of understanding (MOUs) covering all employees in the UAPD Unit. The current MOU will expire on June 30, 2018. It is the County's goal to maintain transparency during the course of these negotiations by ensuring that employees in the Unit and management personnel have the opportunity to review the written negotiations proposals presented by UAPD and the County. The County firmly believes that this transparency will benefit the collective bargaining process and assist both the unit and the County to reach a satisfactory outcome. No attempt will be made to comment on any proposal presented by either the County or the bargaining unit. This site will be updated as proposals are made throughout the bargaining process.
